Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Planning Your Visit to EOSC
At EOSC, the health and safety of our patients comes first. We understand all medical care cannot be delayed during this COVID-19 pandemic and we want patients to feel confident about our continued commitment to providing a safe and clean environment for everyone.
How We Are Keeping You Safe
Guided by the most recent Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), federal/state, and local health recommendations, we have applied the following safety measures for your protection:- Symptom screening and temperature checks for everyone entering the facility.
- Face masks requirement for staff and patients at all times.
- Increased cleaning and disinfection for all areas of the facility.
- Physical distancing in waiting and clinical areas of the facility.
- Limited visitors to our facility. (Please note: At this time, we are not allowing anyone accompanying a patient to stay in our waiting room. You will be asked to leave and will be called once the patient is ready for pick up. In addition, only one parent/guardian will be allowed to stay with our pediatric patients.)
Do Your Part
We ask that patients call to reschedule their surgeries or procedures if during the last 14 days they have experienced any of the following symptoms:
- Fever or chills
- Cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- Vomiting or diarrhea (Please note: Diarrhea related to colonoscopy prep is to be expected.)
- New loss of taste or smell
COVID-19 testing may be required for patients scheduled for a surgery or procedure. Please follow your physician’s office testing instructions.
